7 Day Juice Fast: Day Seven
Day 7 and the final day of my 7 day juice fast and I start out weighing 50.7kg down just 100g from yesterday. Today hasn't been just juice. I had so much to do with appointments away from home etc. and I came back to a juicer that I hadn't cleaned from my morning rush. I'd bought some plain, natural yogurt on my way home in readiness for when the juice fast is over and so I made a banana, yogurt, sesame seed and cinnamon smoothie. I watered the yogurt down quite a bit ….
My final weight should be taken tomorrow. Final weight the morning after is the same at 50.7kg.
Conclusion: Overall weight loss 2.2kg and 2" off my waist. It's not what I was hoping for but then I have no experience of trying to lose weight so it was hope and not expectation. What was the most amazing thing about the 7 day juice fast was the energy I had and best of all I had no extreme fatigue bouts that had become a part of my daily life. It will be very interesting to see how long this lasts.
A glass of warm water with lemon juice first thing in the morning is now part of my daily routine and will continue this (see why here). I will incorporate a juice into my daily meal plan and will have no hesitation in doing a juice fast in the future whenever I feel like it.
